Title: A/F Ratio gauge install help
Post by: 90TGP on July 15, 2003, 09:56:09 AM
I know a few of you installed a/f gauges. I was wondering on how you hooked up the wire that splices into the 02 sensor. I need help.

Thanks

Just cut and splice(don't forget to solder) or use a crimp on splicer. I prefer the cut and splice method

I've heard of people using two O2 sensors. The oe is left alone, and a new one is placed elsewhere for the A/F meter. Soposidly to keep an acurate reading for both the ecm and the meter, So they won't fight for the signal.

Sounds like a good idea!

For some reason I always thought that the A/F ratio meter required a Wideband O2 sensor... 8)

Widebands are usually used when you dyno-tune a car.
