Are the scratches in the clear-coat or all the way down to bare metal? Normally a nice 3 stage 3M buffing will clean up scratches in the clear-coat. If it is to bare metal...touch-up paint and a buffing will do until you repaint... 8)

ive always use marine polish/wax and a high speed buffer.....seems to do the job...but then again if its down to the metal may need something stronger
