Title: where to wire

Just wondering the best way to run the speaker wire.....got to much power goin through factory wire and plus its really old....thanks

where are you running to/from. Trunk a mounted amp to speakers(locations?) Or from the deck to speakers? If it's from the deck to speakers, run the stock wiring. I run a Pioneer Premier on mine(forget the model, its mosfet 50x4 with 3 sets 6volt preout and all the crossovers built in, and the OEL display).  That runs down factory wiring to a set of Boston Acoutic omponents in front, and coaxilas in the rear, and it works just fine. One more thing, make sure to use a wire harness adapter if the harness is still intact, as it will save your car electrical troubles later on.

If you are running amps, just run them under the door sills and trim.

The new setup in the TGP(finally have the time to build the new comp car) is going to run the wires in the sills.

thanks......i already installed my head unit....aiwa 200 watt thingy magigger lol....but i used the harness and all worked out fine
