I bought the TGP from Waskie for $4000...spent another $2500 to get it the way I wanted it and sold it for much less!  These cars can be real money pits but damn worth it to me!!  8)

I plan on sticking around $6,000 in mine when it's all said and done. That includes paint though.  :D

I have over $6000 in my big block.  When you really get into a project, it's not hard to spend some money.

Yeah..it's not hard at all.

Here's some of my items....
Paint: at least $1,000
Transmission Rebuild Kit (if JeffM ever gets it put together): $900-$1,000
INTENSE LSD: $450
Hybrid Turbo: $at least $1,000
Spearco Intercooler: $600

So you're looking at almost 4 grand there. Plus the highflow heads Jeff is working on. And then there's a few other custom items I have in the works. :)

I have about 3800 or better in mine, but I have over 12,000 in my Supra, and it looks like hell still(lots of suspension work, some engine, and a 2600 friggin trans!). Dropping dollars is easy to do and it happens fast. Beleive me, I own a shop...hehe... I have had customers come in and spend 300-400 at first, and over the course of the year, I had one guy spend over 38,000 on his NSX. To think, all he wanted when he first came in was a K&N drop in filter! It's called the tuning bug. Once you pop, you can't stop.

"whats the deal with the tranny kit""the heads"
Jeff prob slacking off...you know...

Taking care of family, working on his truck, working on someones GNX, Tunning a chip or ten, porting heads, playing on his scan tool, finding good reliable sources for the tranny kits, responding emails<- well you senior guys know his responses are time consuming, shipping chips, x-overs, phone calls.

yea ...I think he's slacking off.

Na realy I too would like to see the trans kit too cuz I might need to go from the 3t40 to a 440-t4/4t-60. [/quote]

I know how jeff feels. Running a full time business, working at a full time job because the business hasnt picked up enough clientel yet, and trying to take care of a home life, including repairs to the house, is VERY time consuming. I know a lot of people don't realize it becase they dont have to do it, but I would say jeff is doing a great job. I would like to see the trans kits as well, but the best things come to those who wait.

those heads sound along with the larger injectors sound like something i'm definitely going to look forward to.  Is he planning on making a custom grind cam as well?  Matching a cam to those heads would be insane power.

I doubt he'll be doing any custom grind work on cams...at least not anytime soon. If you read the info on his website, it says that he is developing heads, along with turbo and intercooler upgrades...and chips to go with them all.  :D That's a lot of work
