Well, I just got back from the track tonight. I made it to the 2nd round of Eliminations for the Sport Compact class [classes designated by size of motor and tranny] during the Summit Racing Street Wars series at Quaker City Raceway. I raced during the evening with 60-75 degree temps. Last time at Quaker I was running between 75-85 degree temps in the afternoon.
My car ran MUCH better times then the last time I was at Quaker. My car ran .5 seconds faster then before. Here's a list of my time slips and 60''s.

As you can probably see, I need new tires for better traction [I'm running R-Rated PepBoys tires and spin pretty good off the line] and more practice to knock my times down even more. Any helpful tips?
good to see you improved your times, are you running w/ the spare and whatnot in the car? make sure to take everything out..also air down your front tires a bit and air up the rears a bit to help w/ traction and to keep some weight from transferring...if it's recommended to use 30-32 psi in your times, I would probably try around 20psi, it makes the tire wider/gives you more of a contact patch and helps out w/ your 60' times....that's about all I can think of at the moment..also have some friends go along w/ you and push your car in the staging lanes if it's a long wait instead of cranking up the car to move everytime the line moves forward...maybe wire up your fans manually if you haven't already..cheap mod and helps to keep things cool. BTW, what was the temp/humidity out and what's the elevation of the track you run at?
I took out the spare tire, and cleaned out the interior before I left. But I did have a full tank of gas.
I left all 4 tires with recommended psi [didn't bring an air pump with me].
I placed a bag of ice on my intake inbetween runs and let my car cool down right after I got to the track. During the last 2-3 runs, there was a long wait with some pretty chilly air.
I'm planning on wiring up a fan switch over the winter.
I'm not sure what the humidity was today, but the temp during the evening and night was between 60-70 degrees. Last time it was in the 80s. I'm not sure what the track elevation is, but I think it's somewhere near sea level.
sweet! I guess you can really see the difference in the #'s getting a full 11+ psi. Its been said that 1psi = 7+hp so if you picked up 30ish hp then for every 30hp you can drop about .5 off your 1/4 time. approximatel of course :D!
Good improvements
