I am looking for a gm factory stereo for my TGP. Preferably with CD but I'll consider cassette. Thanks.

I pulled a radio out of a 90 TGP this week at a Junkyard.  It is a nice one too.  Has the EQ and all that on it.  I also bought the housing that it sits in if anyone with an 89 wants it to be able to put an aftermarket in.

My only problem is I'm not sure how much I wanna let this radio go for. Sorry but it is a cassete.

My CD player (NO TWALT YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!!! ) is at the local stereo shop getting fixed. He said it is a common problem with that GM stereo that the Spin motor for the CD burns up. He is trying to find a motor for it and is only charging me $80 to fix it. I can't wait to get the tunes a flowing again... 8)

Hey TimZ26, Any chance you can go back to that junkyard and cut the connectors for the radio out with as much wire as possible. I have an aftermarket CD player and when it was put in the kid cut all the connectors out. I want to put a stock stereo back in but do not have the patience to wire everything without the connectors. If you can get them I can wire them back in. Thanks.

Also, if you decide what you want for it PM me with the price.

I got the estimate on my CD player....$254 to repair    He said it needs a new Laser and a new sensor...then $90 labor. I will buy a new stereo.
