I was on my way home on interstate this evening from getting my kids for the weekend, which is 100 miles each way, and I had a little trouble in the TGP. I was passing a semi, doing about 70,when I see his turn signal come on. I'm thinking WTF are you doing. He starts coming over and I lay on the horn. He keeps coming. My front end was at the back tires of his cab when he started coming into my lane. I really had nowhere to go but off the road. It had just quit raining and here I am in wet grass, Mud and loose rocks. I lightly stepped on the brakes hoping I would not start sliding. The TGP stayed straight until he was past me. I pulled back onto the road going about 50. I was scared shitless. I had my two kids and my fiance's kid in the car. Just thought I'd share and say how glad I am I was in the TGP. This car handle like a dream and possibly saved our lives.
Catch up to MF and make him pull over! Then go  on him! Glad to hear you are ok, f-ing truck drivers think they own the road!
I was gonna get ahead of him and make him stop but you don't know who is carrying a gun these days. So I got pics of his license plate, truck #, and co. name. I'll be in contact with them hopefully. I am also glad I didn't have my new tires on yet. My luck, I would've cut one up or something.
Glad to hear that you and the kids are safe. Having kids actually calmed me down quite a bit, theres no sense in elevatig situations with some potentially doped up idiots, just report them and let their bosses take care of it.
You can also sue if there are any damages done to the car.
90TGP...
You cannot sue a truck driver or a company for damages to your car unless there was obvious contact between that truck and your car. I was an Owner/Operator for a little while and had some guy try to sue me for something similar. 8)
Yep the good ole 1-800-Howsmydriving. Get your hands on Jerkyboys 3 and listen to track 22. You'll figure out how to get back at him. Just call his company and say he backed over you and that your in the hospital now.
But good to hear that you guys are safe. ABS system really payed off there. I just took my car to chicago to meet up with a buddy of mine. I really liked the expressways and how it handles.
Actually the ABS doesn't work right now. You know, the famous walletmaster. (powermaster brake unit)
