Title: i still have some TGP parts F/S....
Post by: twinturbosedan on October 02, 2003, 01:02:41 AM
ok i'm gonna try this again  hopefully someone out there can use this stuff. here's what i got (all parts are used):

$175 - TGP radiator w/upper mounting panel. when i bought it it was damaged in shipping but i have since gotten it fixed at a very reputable local shop (soldered up not recored). i have before/after pics of the damage, which really wasn't too bad or big in area. it's a 3-core radiator and only the 1st row of tubes got the damage; not the other two rows behind the 1st row. it has been flushed, pressure checked & repainted, but i have no documentation of this. i've dealt with this guy before (i had him recore two other radiators in the past) and he was always really nice and did a great job. he does alot of radiator work for the local circle track guys. i trust this radiator fully, but it is sold 'AS IS'. it's a rare piece. the radiator includes the TGP upper mounting panel for the radiator/IC, which is in great shape. this piece will allow you to mount a TGP intercooler.

$30 - complete TGP tranny cooler system (besides the radiator part obviously  ). taken from the same TSTE is got my motor from (111,xxx miles). i have a manual tranny and obviously don't need it. the tranny lines don't *appear* to be leaking and everything was dry when i removed it. the cooler itself is in great shape and only bright red trans fluid came out. it includes the air box that the cooler fits into, as well as the ducting to the front of the car (sorta dry rotted) and the metal elbow piece that mounts in the front of the car. this would be great for any 4T60 really.

$35 - TGP air box. taken from the same TSTE i got my motor from. it includes the ducting to the passenger side of the car, (dry rotted like the tranny cooler ducting) the plastic 'leaf gaurd' that goes on the end of the ducting, and the flex hose that goes to the turbocharger compressor inlet from the air box itself. it's all in good shape but the air box is missing one of the metal clips that hold down the lid. i'm going to be using a K&N cone so i don't need this part.

$30 - TGP primary fan - the biggest W-body fan made i think, at least as far as 1st Gen's go. one of the wires is cut but i can easily fix this using my Berzomatic pen torch, paste flux, solder, some shrink wrap & some wire loom (i have some experience and can do a good job). the fan bracket is included of course, along with the rubber 'feet' and rubber mounting spacers that bolt to the radiator/IC upper mounting panel. this fan will probably only work with the TGP radiator/IC upper mounting panel & radiator.

$25 - extra set of turbo oil/coolant lines (pre-bent metal tubing). included are: the coolant supply line that comes from the oil filter sandwich cooler, the coolant return line that goes to the TGP upper coolant pipe, and the oil supply line. the supply line is the metal tubing section only, the short braided section is not included but should be easy to get and add. i *don't* have an extra TGP oil drain hose, pipe, or oil pan tho. price might seem kinda high i know, but i wouldn't mind keeping an extra set around to be honest

i also have an extra set of upper & lower TGP intercooler pipes (good shape) but i'm not sure what to charge for 'em and i'm sorta hesitant to sell them anyway (i wouldn't mind having an extra set of these either IOW)....but make an offer if you really need/want them. i have extra flex hoses for them too but not the rubber TB or turbo couplers.

the Burning Rom: the guy i bought my new turbo/crossover pipe has sent the stuff, and has already given me a UPS tracking # so it should be here shortly. i'll PM you when it gets here and let you know of the condition etc. it should be just fine, the heat shields are still on (probably cracked), and the broken EGR tube fitting isn't really part of the crossover pipe anyway.

Nathan: you should get your TGP parts tomarrow.

well that's all i can think of right now. sorry about the long post; i just wanted to be descriptive about what i have fo sale yo. thanks
