I have an 1989 TGP.
Red w/ tan leather interior. The car was repainted in 1999. It has small crack in rear bumper by drivers exhaust, scuffed lower valence, some small rock chips on bumper and hood, and the PS rear reflector in bumper is broken, has small dent in hood from someone kneeling on it,fuel filter, and paint is chipped in front of rear tires down to primer. Brand new windsheild installed 2 months ago.
Has 140,000 miles on body and mechanical parts. I changed injectors at 134,000, has a K&N filter on the turbo, new lower motor mount, tranny mount, and dogbones, brand new Taylor spiro-pro plug wires and plugs, new cranks shaft seal, changed transmission filter and fluid at 129,000, new toyo proxy t1s(P245/45R16), FFP coil over rear with KYB G2 struts, Eibach Lowering springs in front, removed teh mufflers and put straight pipes with led oval tips, new IAC sensor, TPS sensor, and brnad new lower ball joints. New brakes we installed right before I bought it in 2000 (still good)
The interior is in great condition. Has three cigarette burns from previous owner. One in drivers rear seat, and 2 in the cloth of the passenger seat. The head liner is starting to fall a little in the rear, the panel on PS rear has cloth peeled back a little. The drivers seat has some wear on the left side of the seat rom people getting in and out. The drivers seat left side is out a bit. Has usual creases in leather and the carpet has minor discoloration. The rear deck is faded and spotty. One rear speaker cover is shattered but possibly can be glued.
Has a Sony CD player in it now but have stock player. The AC doesn't work and has leak somewhere. The seats function fine except the drivers right leg doesn't move.
The car stalls when you start it but only if it sits overnight. Cannot figure it out. It is jsut time to sell. It is a great car. Would love to keep it but no place to store it for the winter anymore. Has never been driven in winter since repainted. Has tinted windows, clear tailights, led exhaust tips, great tires, and lowered 1.4 inches all the way around. I have always ran Castrol Syntec 10w30 with an AC Delco filter on it since I bought it. I bought it with 121,000 on the car and it has 140,000 in it now.

good luck selling the car, I look forward to seeing pics although I'm not really interested in the car at this time...I just like seeing other TGP's 8) BTW, I don't think you'll get anywhere near the price you listed, check out ebay from time to time and see what they go for lately, sadly not too much.
just a thought, I know for sure that GM had a TSB on the stalling issue and it needs an updated prom to fix the issue, it only applies to 89-90 TGP's and 90 STE's
I agree with fewtrail...your asking price is fairly high for the amount of miles you have on your car  But it's your car..so ask whatever you want for it. Just don't be suprised when it doesn't sell quickly
Hey Clay.....Can Me and Mark Take a look at it we may be able to find out whats going on with it....He Fugured out what was wrong with my STE...email me Jeorge@citlink.net with a subject so I dont delete it. and I will see you around town or something...and hell if its the PMC we could try the one out of my STE I think they should be the same computer...
I have pics of my car now but how do I put them on so ppl can see them? HELP? Thanks Clay
Clay, you need an image host to be able to post pictures on this board. Email me Platjblser@aol.com and I'll host them for you on my starblvd account, or you can create your own for free, it's pretty quick simple..either way I don't mind if you just want to send them to me and let me throw them on my site..the link for the site I mentioned above is http://starphoto.starblvd.net/
here are the pics..starblvd auto-resizes them(I cropped the backgrounds so the pictures would show more of the car when resized...

I think I saved the larger pictures also so if any of you want the larger pics I can email them to you(if I did save them)..if not, I guess Clay could email ya' them. Looks like the TGP is in damn good shape for the mileage, I like the clear tails btw, first TGP I've seen w/ them
