I'm leaking brake fluid from what appears to be my master cylinder. The puddle is next to the inside of my tire(directly below my mc) but I also noticed a leak om the driver side rear wheel. I have heard that the mc is prone to leaks due to pressure, but is it also true that a leak could be caused from my brake pads despertly needing replacement.also i lost the key(a special patterned lug nut) to remove my wheel. does anybody know how to remove a lug nut that was designed to detour theft. I belive it is oem.thanks, any help is greatly appreaciated
on some theft lugs you can take a piece of sandpaper and fold it so the "grit" side is out on both sides, get an impact wrench and a 12 point socket that is slighlty larger than the lug. place the sandpaper in the socket so the grit side is going to grab the lug nut and the socket, apply the impact into the socket and hope for the best. It sounded like bs to me but I had a guy remove a set of wheels like this for me about 10 years ago and if I wouldn't have seen it, I wouldn't have believed it!! The sandpaper scratched the lug nuts a little but it was the price I was willing to pay for losing a very important adapter. You may also be able to order an adapter for the vin# you have on your car. Chris A might know more on that path.
I believe it's either a 22 or 24mm 12-point socket that will spin off the locking lug nuts. I can't remember for sure
As for your mc, PM111 sounds like the rear pump housing is leaking. Search for Chris A. and go to his sight. He has a good write uo on the PM.

Lots of things leak brake fluid on these cars unfortunately.
The leak at the front is most likely the rear housing on the PMIII. You need to check the fill level properly first by depressurizing the unit, pressing the pedal 40 times. Sometimes they get overfilled because they are not depressurized first and the fluid will leak out. However, as the cracks in the housing worsen it will really pour out of there but only when the key is on.
The leak at the rear is the proportioning valve. There is a picture of the valve on my sight with the PMIII info.
there are dirctional ezoff sockets for locking lugs you can get it done for few bucks at any tire discounters most of the time they have the key anyway and will sell you one so you dont have to get new locks
