One owner, 39K miles. Red, Tan Leather, Sunroof, plus everything that came standard. Tires are Goodrich TA's 245-45/16's so there's a little extra clearance w/ about 2K Miles on them. Comes with Jeff M's crossover pipe and a TG160 chip. Interior and exterior in great shape.
What's the catch? I took out the old pipe to send to Jeff and the brake master cylinder to install a new accumulator. Got pissed off and never reinstalled them so it's got to be towed. The fuel injection system also needs some work I can describe if you're interested. Replaced the ignition modules when I started the upgrade.
Make me an offer of $1000; $500 for the pipe and the TG chip and $500 for the car and it's yours. No, I won't sell them seperately. The whole mess will be donated before the end of the year if nobody wants it.
Could you please send me anymore info you have on the car? This sounds very interesting to me! Are you the original owner? Do you have any pics I could see? Please email me at formula305@comcast.net

anyone hear back from this guy yet? just wonderin..
Haven't heard anything yet. I'm patiently waiting.
although its completely irrational for me to even think about going to get that car, 39K?!?! I'd really just like to see what it looks like.. but my mom does live in Salinas! :fadein: someone's gonna be lucky..
I haven't heard anything. I certainly hope that its not one of those one time post guys
I haven't heard from him either, plus NO DEAL from my so called buddy. So I'm out...Damn it!!!!
I wonder if it still has that new car smell to it..
I PM'ed him and didn't recieve anything either, most likely someone playing with us :shocked!: :shocked!: :drinking:
I've emailed him back and forth a few times now so I think it's legit. He sent me a very descriptive email of the cars problems. Right now I'm waiting on some pictures but he did tell me it was going to be a couple of days. I'm seriously thinking of taking some of my vacation time and making a short trip up there.
I'm looking into it also..
Quote from: RyanI'm looking into it also..
So has this guy actually contacted you too? I was getting excited when I heard from him but now it has been a few days and I haven't heard back. Has anyone else talked to this guy?
Yeah I only wrote with him, but I wanted to ask a few more questions.. just out of curiosity. Anyway haven't heard back but it took a few days the first time. Oh well. Good luck.
My apologies to those here to whom I did not reply. My reasoning for offloading the car at this time was due to purchasing a new home. Right after I posted this that deal went south and I took a week to resolve all the issues with that and it did take precedence.
I really did not want to deal with an out of area transaction because of the disassembled state of the car. I was hoping someone in N. California would be interested. That has not happened. Both Michael and Ryan have indicated a continuing very strong interest in the car including removing it as is. As uncomfortable as I am with this prospect I guess it would be better than just donating it.
Again, my apologies to all. You all are aware how temperamental these vehicles are and this is certainly one of the more temperamental examples.
Richard
I am also interested in the car, I was the first to reply to your post. I am in Washington state and I have the means necessary to get a non running car back up here and cash in hand. So if you could email me some more info on your car it would be greatly appriciated. formula305@comcast.net
Thanks,
Joss
