Hello fellas. Been a while, glad to see the turbo grand prix forums still exist. Figured I would hop on here and try to field quesitons about the car on ebay.

was a joke in reference to my user name.

I highly doubt it. The previous owners did not replace the crossover pipe, which smells and sounds like it is leaking.


With the fading paint and the crossover pipe issue I set the reserve low.

Out of curiosity what do you guys think it will close at? I thought about going through her with a fine tooth comb and and getting the faded paint looking like new but havent had a whole lot time to spend on it.

It's hard to say, but I could see it going between 2500-4000 possible more. You still have a few days left. There are always people laying in the back ground waiting.  It will go up.  The grey int will draw alot of attention.  I wish I had the money to buy it.  I have a black/grey now I would love to have a red/grey to go with it..

I had to kill the auction becasue the title wasnt in my name. The last owner signed it and the buyer section is left blank. I am told that that is considered "floating a title" is is evidently a big no no. Guess it is for the best this gives me an oppertunity to have the paint checked by an second source and have the x-over pipe replaced.

So red/grey is rare?  Yet another reason to piss me off about the red "parts" car.  It HAD grey, which is now in my black car.  Previous owners can suck my ass.   :evil:  Every day I look at better looking TGP's than mine I think about putting the red one back together.  It's beautiful except for the front end missing (he was using parts for the black car)  I may use the black one for parts for the red one.

Man a lot of emails and no lookers. I want 3500 out of the car, I am having the flex sectinos replaced on the cross over pipe as i write this. I can be reached at 309-645-5618 between 7pm and 9pm central standard time. I am still waiting for insite to turn on my internet at home so I can send and post better pics. Should be up and running on Saturday.
