Title: Needed Winter Car
Post by: ShuGTXTurbo on January 07, 2004, 12:49:11 AM
Hey everybody looking for a winter beater with a good heater.  I don't want to drive the TGP in the snow anymore.  She doesn't look pretty with salt on her.  I want to find anything that moves and wont break down on me with heat.  Like 100-200 bucks.  I would like also a 4 banger if at all possible so I could turn it into a race car for next years race season when I'm done with it in the winter.  BUT ANYTHING WILL WORK!!!

i've got a 90 Grand Prix in the back yard that needs some work you can have for pretty cheap but i'm in central PA which is probably too far for you.  Its black w/ grey cloth interior, Eagle Nascar tires and some custom interior work (not much).

distance is never an issue.  Is it drivable right now?  How much do you want for it?

uh... i haven't driven it in a while... so I'm not exactly sure.  It isn't registered and doesn't have an Alternator in it but I think it probably could be driveable fairly easily.  It has some tranny problems (see my post in the thread about shift points being to high) which you may not want to deal with. The driver side door was also replaced and doesn't hang quite exactly. It closes hard but does seal as far as I know. As for price... i don't really konw... i wasn't exactly planning on selling it before today actually.  Probably a couple hundred.  I can probably find some pictures if you want to see them.

sounds like more work than I want to drive for.  I'd have to haul it home on a trailer.  Thanks for the info though.  Anybody else got a cheap car?
