Title: Sad Loss
Post by: turbo90gp on March 29, 2004, 12:16:10 PM
On my way home from work today, chick pulls up next to me in a 95+ GA.  Light goes green, I give it like 1/2 gas, Pull on her hard, then go to shift into second, VROOOOOOOOM, yup, cant find it under hard acceleration.  Needless to say, she passed me by with a big grin on her face...I Hope to see the bitch again when I get my 5 speed in it in may!!!!

Don't use a Centerforce clutch, or you will have the same problem.  I can get about 2 hours of driving, then it has to sit a while, to let the clutch cool down.

Really?? How hard do you drive? I've never had a problem with mine (centerforce clutch) except once at the track last June.

That sucks.  What other kind of clutch should someone with a 5 speed get?  I am thinking about eventually getting a 5 speed and I'm wondering what I should do.

Thanks,

Shawn

Davis just bought s SPEC and that's what I am gonna use.  Yeah, Luke, I don't know much about the clutch except for it's a Kevlar/Ceramic clutch.  I was told it was a Centerforce by the P/O.  Normal driving w/ a few fast pulls here and there, and it's no good after 2 hours or so.  I could still drive normally, but if I applied over 1/2 throttle, it would just rev to da SKY!!!  Kenny also feels that C/F are sheit.
