Post by: GPChief on March 29, 2004, 08:48:33 PM
started @ 0600 pulled the TGP into the garadge and started working.

1. repaired Electric seats (new controller from J/Y) also rubber cemented the bottom of the center consel lid back together.

2. fixed electric mirrors (see note)

3. fixed power door locks (see note)

4. repaired torn front facia.

5. Did the intercooled turbo lighting mod.

6. Repaired broken front fan.

Note - found two broken wires behind the fuse panel

If only all days were like this, this was an awesome day.  - just thought I'd share my TGP bliss with everyone.  :patriot:  :headbang:

Damn, you got a lot of stuff fixed!  I did that Intercooled Turbo lighting mod to my STE and now my dad wishes he did it to his TGP.  Its just kinda cool to see it light up and all.

Nice to get so many things done in a day, I know sometimes I have a huge list and do it all at one time and it's like having a different car.

What were your seats soing before you fixed the problem.  I have a problem where when I hit a lumbar button, it sounds like it's only moving one motor in the drivers seat.  No matter which lumbar button, or if the lever says driver or pass side seat.  The recline and seat positions still function normally.

My seats were doing nothing, except moving forward and backwards. (all the wires in the center consel were broken / cracked.
