Well, I'm in dier need of a tune up. Yes, the same one I've been putting off for months. The car has been bucking and idling rough since last night, and I can clearly hear it missing in the exhaust note. Then, I lost to a 4.0 Cherokee, so that was the last straw. Not that I should be able to walk all over one of those, but it shouldn't have been pulling away from me like it did (it was only after this when I stopped at a store and heard the car missing). So....
Before I go with some NGK TR6s, I wanted to see if anyone would possibly have a set of the old Rapidfires lying around (non-platinums, of course) that they'd be willing to part with. I need these kinda' quick. If I don't get a response within a week, I'm going with the NGKs. They're not a bad choice, but I'd prefer the Rapidfires. The rest of the tune-up is in the works....
Go Iridiums GOOOO.
lol. Don't tempt me! I've been strongly leaning that way. Does it matter which brand? NGK Iridiums, Denso, etc.?
Well, yes and no. The NGK's not AS good (do I have that backwards?) Whichever one is more expensive is better. There is a link on here or the W board about plugs. Jeff explained it all.
How much you willing to pay for a set of Delco Rapidfires?
See other board....
