Title: Anyone Happen to have....?

I need the plastic retainer clip that goes on the top of the throttle body holding the vacuum lines in. mine busted all to hell. its the black thing that clips over thelines into the TB

I have one, but it's mine MWAHAHAHA.  Sorry, you don't see too many in good shape.  The auto tgp the owner did something half bootleg, half genious.  His was busted all to shit as well, he took the part that covers the rubber insert, and glued it (silicone) to the TB.  so the sides that actually clip weren't there, just the part that goes around the lines.

is it the same part for any 2.8L/3.1L? if so i will just go test drive one from car lot and walla.

The non turbo cars didn't get one did they?  My cutty doesn't have one, and I can't say I've ever seen one on a non turbo car.  N/A cars don't typically make boost on a whim.   :lol:

Yeah, it's a turbo specific piece.  I've owned quite a few 2.8/3.1s in my time, and non of them had it.  My TSTE has it for sure, don't recall on the TGP.

It's not turbo specific. My old 89 2.8/5-speed GP had it and my 89 SE has it.

i guess i will go scavange the car lots. if i can't find one i might just make a metal clip and powder coat it :). then i know it wont break again.

IIRC my sisters '93 GP LE (3.1L) has it...but I'm not sure.

I've seen a ton of n/a cars that don't have it also, due to being broken is my guess. But I've also seen my share that still have it.
