i have been talking to the guys at intence racing in columbus and they said they can and will build up a tgp trans to hold 700 hp i talked to them 3 or 4 times at the strip about this there shop cars crazy 3.8 with a 76mm i think its sick i think there best time in its 10.68 they said to use stock haft shaft too like a fuse on the drive like i was going to get the drive shaft shop to make a set to hold 1000 but thats 1200 bucks better spent on my t04b or straight t4 so right know as far as i have seen no core there talking 3500 for a fully buillet and forged trans with tc and a qualffie and a manual valve bady and trans break but no set in stone price im sure if more people want them they get cheaper but the way i look at it cars not down for ever its got a 1200 qualffie a 300 trans break and a 400 tc so its a cheap trans lol more info as the story developes
The Intense turbo GP is pretty crazy, however I have seen it at the track before and it didn't complete one run the whole day...that didn't really impress me. Their 11 second Bonneville also couldn't make it down the track under power the whole way all day either. And IIRC their 11 second Regal only managed 1 pass. Needless to say I was really impressed. :roll:
However, I have heard some good things about their trannies. Some people have had great luck with them, others have had really bad luck with them. It just depends I guess. Their trannies however are a little on the pricey side. You can get them built up just as strong for about half the price at a decent tranny shop. $4k is way too much for a tranny in a $3k (if that) car.
