Title: Whats your Power?
Post by: RedZMonte on April 21, 2004, 10:01:45 PM
Anyone dynoed their TGP's. If so what power/torque are you making, what mods do you have and how much boost are you running and if you know the A/F ratio the wide band O2 read

I made ~205hp ~220TQ, Off the scale Rich -10psi
Everything Stock with Intake

I need to find out why i am running so rich and fix it. then i want to redyno with my new X-over and Mandrel Downpipe.

Well, w/ my trap speeds I am making ~217 HP at the wheels.  (IIRC)  I maybe off on that because I guessed at the weight of the car (I think I went too high but can't remember.)  What is the weight of these cars?

I have a dyno to use, I just have to make a trip there.  It's $100 for 2 baselines and 3 full pulls.  I don't know if I want to spend that much money on the auto, and I don't trust the 5 speed to drive 2 hours get beat up on a dyno, then drive 2 hours back.

I dyno'ed 182.2whp in my STE with a K&N filter, no cat, and magnaflow mufflers.  Thats ~227 crank hp.  The rpm wasn't reading properly on the dyno so the torque numbers aren't accurate.  I am hoping I am at about 210-215 with a TopGun 160.  That is ~265 crank horsepower...but I'm not so sure thats gonna happen.  If not, that along with my 3100 topend, cam, and ffp ud pulley and it better happen!

i don't see why it shouldn't happen. Like i said i dynoed like ~205hp to the wheels with nothing but an intake/cone filter.

There's going to be a dyno at an upcoming local carshow. I'll try to get it dynoed.
