Whats the diff b/t a wideband and a regular?

"WideBand" O2 sensors are just that...they read a wide spectrum of exhaust gases. What is in place on most cars, to include the TGP, is an O2 sensor that just reads "Rich" or "Lean"... 8)

And the farther away from stoich (14.7:1) a reg 02 is the less effective the reading is.

That looks like a decent setup, and not a bad price. The wireless portion of it is a nice feature. I wonder how well it works.

Wouldn't the heat damage the controller?
