Title: Rear strut mounting bolts.
Post by: 90TGP on April 29, 2004, 04:16:45 PM
Ok, you know the two bolts that hold the rear struts to the strut towers? Does anyone know the size of these bolts? I want to get some bolts to replace those that are just slightly longer in thread length so that I can properly bolt down my rear strut tower brace without having to worry about the thread being too short. I don't want the nuts to vibrate loose and fall off.

What is the size of the bolts and where can I get some that are just slightly longer?

pull one out and go to ace. Make sure to get Hardend/Grade 8 bolts. I don't know off the top of my head.

I'm gonna say either 12mm or 15mm.

EDIT  I'm confirming 15mm.
