Well it's a new year and the show season is about to start. I'm looking for some interior and exterior dress-up ideas. Here's what I have right now on my 1990 TGP.
Exterior
RS Limited 17x7 Concept Pro's in gunmetal with Nitto 555 Extreme tires.
Chrome power antenna.
Under the hood
FFP billet upper motor mounts.
Strut tower brace.
K&N filter on turbo.
Polished Blitz Super Sound BOV.
APC red oil cap.
APC red valve cover breather.
Interior
Red aluminum race pedals with foot rest.
Red aluminum shift knob.
Turbo warning sticker on passanger visor. (click on link in sig to see pic)
3-guage pillar pod.
Summer Plans
Swap out the tan interior for a new black/grey interior.
Two racing seats for the front.
Powder coat fender braces/strut tower braces polished silver.
Powder coat front valve cover red and polished silver.
Paint calipers red.
Window tint.
Rear spoiler.
Anyone have any good dress-up ideas?
There is always replacing your wire loom under the hood with some new stuff. It's cheap to do but is time consuming. Also, if you like the look, you could get the GTS headlight covers and maybe spray some Nite Shades on your tail lights.
I added a little 'Pontiac' Decal under the license plate on the TGP. I thought it dressed it up nicely, especially with the badging gone.

Luke, where did you get that pontiac decal from? Looks like it was made to be right there on the car. 8)
Just a quick idea since I'm fixing to head off to bed...
I'm fixing to either order these decals http://www.gtpse.com/signsbydrex/taillight_gt_gtp.htm for the TGP and swap the "G" and "T" around or get some made from them that say "TGP" already..I need to email them and see if it's one whole decal or seperate letters to stick on, I would imagine it's all the letters connected.
I had it made. I did it in Photoshop, and then had it printed.
The girlfriend has the 'GTP' Stickers on her car, and if I remember correctly, they came as seperate letters on 1 backing paper. So you could cut them apart and place them as you wanted I'm sure.
Yeah, I will probably still go w/ my original idea and take some era GTP emblems (Or new ones, that would be cool) and switch them around. I would like some from an early GTP so it looks like it's a GTP but it will say TGP instead.
For the "TGP" logos; You realize that most people are just going to think we're morons that ment GTP, but made a type-o, don't you? :wink:
Luke, that Pontiac lettering looks sweet on there. Almost gives it a '97 & up feel.
I'd like to get the cross-laces painted gun metal grey on the TGP. It will match the dark grey leather interior that will be going in. Not going to do much more than that (other than getting it lookin cherry/new paint job).
As for the STE, I'd LOVE to be able to make a 4-door version B4U package for it. I've seen some photoshoped versions, and it look absolutely bad ass. But I don't have the time for such a massive project. I would like to paint the entire car pearl white with key-colored 5 spokes.
I've also got something special planned for the windshield. A 'perty decal. Just gotta wait till both cars are worthy of putting it on, though. :twisted:

That's what I'm hoping for. Then they *may* race me. 8)
