Title: oil filter cooler?
Post by: no1kicker on June 10, 2004, 06:01:09 PM
I have never heard of this until I was browsing on ebay and found it.  Any input?

That is really weird.  Personally I wouldn't spend my money on it.  If you want your oil cooled down more, put in a colder t-stat to cool down the block, or don't beat on your engine as much.  Both of those are gonna make more difference than an Oil Filter heatsink.  Thats just my opinion though.

Well the TGP already has an oil cooler on it. Look where the oil filter screws on and you will see an extention of sorts with two hoses going to it. Guess what? There is coolant in them there lines...

anthing to cool your oil is good but whatever you do get FIXED LINES ONLY!  Those hoses with hose clamps on them will leak and continue to leak and possibly come off while driving.  Been there done that! get fixed lines only.
