My wife and I are expecting a baby this fall, so my 1990 TGP must go. I am the second family owner, and this car has been babied by my dad and me. I purchased the car from my dad in 2003 for $3,500 and added a $400 cd player, remote keyless entry and trunk release, and have since put $1,700 in it for a major tune-up, to fix an oil leak, and to replace the fuel pump. The car has been fed Mobil 1 synthetic oil since it was new.
The car is red with tan leather and it has a power sunroof. It is in SUPER condition for its age. It has just 98,000 miles and has never required any major repairs.
The air conditioner needs a recharge and the car occassionally stalls at stop signs. Don't all TGPs?
Everything else works perfectly. All the power buttons work, the HUD is perfect, and the steering wheel buttons have been programmed to operate the CD player. I still have the original stereo.
Asking $4,000. I also have four new studded snow tires for the car that I purchased for $440 last fall and put about 500 miles on them. The car has virtually brand new summer tires on it now.
I live in Idaho Falls, ID. Please email me for pics.
If you want to have your pictures posted here, you can send them to me and I'll host/post them for you.

Nope, there was a BCC supercede that was supposed to fix that problem. Idle re-learn might fix it as well. Either way, a TG chip would fix that.
Sorry I haven't sent any pics yet. It rained most of the day yesterday and I wanted to wash the car before I post pics.

Mine stalls too. Can you decode your fixes for us? (BCC, TG chip)
Thanks
I have been looking for a babied TGP for a while. Is your tranny stick or auto? Does the car have any leaks? How is the undercarriage (driven in salt?)

Well, there are what? 3 5 speed TGP's. Me, Luke, and (Fill in name of other guy here) crap, I bet he'll give me hell for forgetting. But that's okay, he has a sally ass 284 anyhow. So, if I had to bet, I'd guess auto.
My car has an automatic tranny. It has no leaks that I am aware of. I spent a gob of money to fix the only leak it had! Also, it was a California car and has never been driven on salty roads. It spent just one winter in Idaho and my wife has driven it less than 2,000 miles since we've owned it. Idaho does not salt its roads. If we get some decent weather, I'll take some pictures. It's raining again!!!!!!!
