Title: Prototype Aluminum 2.8L Chevy 60 Degree V6 Block for sale
Post by: Jeff M on August 20, 2004, 07:54:10 PM
Sure is an odd one, from what I can see it does not have the 4-bolt mains as the true racing aluminum block has, or the crank sensor hole, missing some mounting boss holes but since its an very early 80's block, not suprised, so it runs a Dizzy (not a DIS like we do) distributor.  Someone might be interested in it!

I read about the 1st gen aluminum heads on the 60degree forums. Wow...history..on sale..everything must go!!

I would nab it but too historical and useless for me. I would have bought the prototype eathon supercharger setup they made for the 3rd gen 3100/3400 engines. Too bad I went turbo.   :(          .
