Title: fuel problem
Post by: boost78 on September 06, 2004, 12:51:09 PM
my tgp flooding like crazy. i took the upper intercooler pipe off and the whole thing was filled with gas.  i then kept the pipe off and just turned the ignition on and gas comes right out of the intake. :?  i'm kind of puzzled why gas would come out of the intake?  i also checked for fuel pressure and their is nothing.  do you guys think that one of the injectors is stuck open or the fuel pressure regulator is bad or what?  i would hope the injectors are not stuck open considering they are 2 month old 24lb accel injectors.   any help would be awesome.  thanks.

You have gas coming out of the throtle body?   I would say you have a short to ground on one or both injector banks or your ECM is melted down. Could be anywhere from the ECM to the injectors. Lt blue and lt green wires at connecter D on the ECM. About a foot in front of the ECM there are 3 or 4 conecters where you can also get to these wires.

Good luck and be carefull you could have an engine full of gas.

Check the fuel pressure regulator, if there is fuel in the vacuum line on the regulator, then the regulator needs to be replaced.
