Title: Help.....I'm Drowning (A/C drain plugged)
Post by: PCarter on August 23, 2002, 06:19:58 AM
:?: Can anyone tell me where the drain for the A/C condensate is for my 1990 TGP?

My car is filling up with water.  The carpets are soaked and naturally the humidity is so darned high the A/C can't keep up and produces more condensate which drains into the car and ...continuous cycle.

Please..... any help would be appreciated.

If you are facing the motor from the passengers side fender look on the fire wall about mid way between the shock tower and the exhaust down-pipe about 12" down from the hood lip seal. You will see a 90* black rubber deal poking out of the fire wall. It has a small nipple on the end of it..that is the condensate and heat-core leak exit... 8)

Thanks TGPilot, found it and cleared it out.  A gush of about a quart came out.  Now I can dry out the interior.
