Any chance of it fitting?  It's for the 97+.  Only asking cause the newer trailing arms and strut bars fit.

The trailing arms are the only part of the '97+ GP suspension that are the same.  At least thats what I've been told numerous times.  The strut bars aren't even close to being the same, you have to drill holes in your strut towers to bolt them too. (and you could do this with any car to make the bars fit) I tried to bolt my dads front strut bar from his GTP on my STE and it wasn't close at all.

Just curious what is the difference between the 1st generation w-body rear end and the 1.5 gen (1995-1999 monte carlo) rear end (parts wise)? Besides the monte carlo having independant rear suspension. Would anything fit on the TGP?

I know the rear brake set-up will swap over.

Yes but you had to drill holes to bolt on the strut tower brace.

I agree it is worth it.  I was just saying that the only part of the suspension that is the same are the trailing arms.  The STB's aren't a bolt on, and you could drill holes in basically any car of similar width to make them fit, so of course they are going to fit.  Not saying thats bad, just that they aren't the same.
