Title: FS: Grand Prix STE Seats
Post by: RareGMFan on January 28, 2005, 06:15:32 PM
Ok, guys.  I'm loosing the garage space at work since we're moving, so I can't hang on to my extra parts anymore.     I'm trying to get rid of whatever I don't absolutely need, so I can rent the smallest space possible at Public Storage (rip-off bastards).  Anyways, I've got the stock gray cloth STE seats that my TSTE came with.  I only replaced these because I found the leather version (which the driver's seat is in actually in worse shape, but....hey...it's leather), so these are going bye bye.  All they need is a good cleaning (they look worse in the photos than they do in person due to the lighting).  Every single function works on the front seats.  The drivers side cushion is a little squashed on the left edge, but nothing is torn or worn down.  I'm looking to get $100 for all of them, and would prefer not to split them up.  If at ALL possible, I'd prefer having these picked up, because shipping would be a killer in cost for the buyer, and a lot of labor for me, which I just don't have the time for right now.  I live about 30 minutes SW of Chicago.  Here are some photos:

If anyone is interested, needs more info, or more photos, PLEASE E-MAIL ME at ste6000awd@msn.com.  I don't have much time for the internet, so I'll be a lot more likely to see an e-mail than to visit this board.

I've been on eBay as a buyer and seller for quite some time, and have 0 negative feedbacks (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedbackFromBuyers&userid=ste89awd&items=-1&item=-1&de=off), so have no fear about being ripped off.

  Surprised to see me? I didn't leave the internet, just the kindergarten forum...

Anyway, those seats look nice. You still have the console and seat controls in the car, don't you?

Yes, those I obviously needed, as all I did was switch out the seats for some leather ones.  If you need those controls, I'm pretty sure the 4-5 GP STEs I ran into at the yard last summer (including the one I pulled the seats from) will be there this year.  At least, a few of them anyway.  The one I got mine from was there for a year.  Didn't want it initially because:  A.  It was the light grey interior, I really wanted the graphite, and B.  The driver's seat was a bit torn.  But since it was still there when I went back for the half price day (which, half price at THIS yard is like normal prices everywhere else), I figured what the hell.  It'll do for now, and then I can sell it off again if I find graphite grey.

Like I said, other then the part that's kinda squashed on the bottom left hand side of the driver's seat, they're actually in very nice condition (aside from being dirty).  Watcha' got up your sleeve, Turby?

Thanks!

Not sure what's up my sleeve yet. I'd like to find charcoal leather for my CS International. My seats are leather now but the front are worn pretty good in spots. The rear buckets are perfect.

I'm looking at your seats either for the white GP SE that's gonna be getting fixed or for my buddies Regal GS we're redoing. He's switching out the maroon interior for grey. We just stripped another Regals interior but the front seats are shot. We got everything else for the interior. I told him to get GP front seats and a console to match. I have a 5-speed shifter plate to go on a GP console. That's what he needs.

I'll get back to you.
