Do you have vacuum at the line before the check valve (after it comes out the vacuum port on the throttle body and were the check valve is connected)? The only thing I can say is start at the source and move out. You might just have a broken vacuum line. You have vacuum at the throttle body, follow the lines and check them at every connector. You may actually need the part that has three ends.
ON the throttle body..the hose close to you is the one that runs under the intake manafold and into the Fuel pressure regulator and the map sensor and no place else. The next one with the BOLT in it is suppose to be for the HVAC Cruise control(t off to cruse and all sorts of places). The next one goes to the Canister purge (black duhicky for fuel vapors located on fender wall. Doesn't t off..might have a check valve). The last one far away from you is for the EGR valve(doesn't T off into anything..no check valve).
The port on the intake manafold almost by the throttle body is for the trans modulator. It shouldn't t off into anything. I think it has a check valve there to keep boost from going into the modulator.
The turbo waste gate or turbo lines will never see vacume..so don't even mess with them. One line goes to the turbo and then the other hose goes from the selinoid to the actuator.
ok, well the furthest and 2nd furthest both DO NOT have vacuum at all, they are clogged or somthing. does anyone have a vacuum diagram? where is the line go from the one w/ the bolt in it?
OK the third one back goes to the MAP (Manifold Apsolute Pressure)sensor, the fourth goes to the EGR valve (Exhauset Gas Recirculator). THESE TWO DO NOT RUN VACUUM. the only two that have vacuum are the first one (fuel pressure regulator) and the second one (goes to the CRUISE CONTROL).
Just checked the vacuum at the check valve you were talking about I had 17 in Hg. of vacuum. The line (second from the front of the throttle body) goes from the throttle body to the check valve (remeber this is before it enters the check valve). check to see if you have vacuum. If you don't have a vacuum gauge unplug it and put your finger over the hose while its running and it it sucks to your finger you have vacuum.
If you don't know what vacuum line I'm talking about, when you posted on the w-body forums the one in picture 2 of your first post. the line on the end of the check valve NOT ZIPPED TIED ON.
the second line on the throttle body doesnt even have a hose in it!, so the vac line goes directly to the check valve or what? that whole post was confusing, u sure that lines 3 and 4 dont have vacuum?

Yes I'm sure 3 & 4 don't have vacuum because I just double checked on my car. And you say that there is no hose in line 2, that right there is your problem (and yes it goes directly to your check valve you were talking about). You can order new vacuum lines from GM for 22.99 or just make your own (I would just make my own) 8).
out of? alright, thanks, people on w-body said they should have vacuum! thanks a ton!

For a cheap fix I would use rubber tubing. But for the propper fix I would got to a junk yard or a Pontiac Dealership and get the the correct hose.
how would i go about lining the vacuum lines over to the check valve, u cant just go strait over from the throttle body to the check vavle can u? it would cook the line. so the 3rd thing on the checkvalve is where that line goes then
No the original line goes under in intake plenum and connects to another line behind the engine. Follow the line connected to the check valve (the one that goes back toward the firewall) it goes around the PMIII and over behind the engine. that is were you should connect the new line at. I'm not 100% sure were the third line goes to but I will find out for you in the next day or so.
Well im 100% sure you don't have cruse controll. Does your ac vents change when you switch to bottom or bilevel, defrost?. That is because the sencond one is for those features(screw in it). Like said before..look behind the intake..there should be a line there going to the check valve you installed. and from there to the cruse controll device. Remove the screw and install a new line from there to the line behind the intake (not the map or the Selinoid purge lines) that leads to your new check valve. The first one is for the fuel pressure and Map. I don't know how you have yours going to the map sensor on the 3rd one SpeedDemon. That one is for the fuel purge. It won't meter the air right. The EGR and purge ports have low vacume because the ports for them are not located behind the TB blade..they are almost right on it. On one of the pic you have on w-body Prospeeder the one you said its under around the turbo aria looks like for the brake padle to cruse control hose.

My oppologies I was going from memory on the back two (its been a while since I've worked on the engine). You are right the third one goes to the fuel purge  :( .
hmm, ok, some1 gave me a drawing they made, helped me out, i still cant find that T junction, and im missing a 3rd hose to that check valve, i have the top one that goes to the firewall, and the bottom one that goes to the vac canister thingy
fixed! yay, junkyards rock, lol, i got an anttena wire too, and the check valve, and vacuum hoses, off a 92 white GTP, with gray Interior, i accedently cut myself while under the dash, i slung blood on the seats, LOL its all crashed up and blood, thats halarious, the valence was missing :( but the check valve and the anttena wireing and all that was there, and my car is now fixed!
