I am extremely new to TGP's .. and i apologize if this is a dupicate question.. but what turbo's will mount to a TGP?
Will a T3 fit?
No...you need a T-25 flange and the exhaust housing needs to match the 5-bolt downpipe unless you plan to do a bit of fabrication.
Do a search on "got a new toy" and see what the largest internally wastegated turbo looks like... 8)
Isnt it possible to have a different flange on a bigger turbo?
You can go with any flange you desire...but the crossover for a 3.1L vin V is a T-25 flange. It would require fabrication and relocation to make most T3 style turbos to work.
So whats the big deal about fabricating a new crossover pipe? It would seem that spending the money to be able to run a bigger turbo would be worth the cost of fabrication. Over at the supercharged tbird club we used to do group buys.
Like you said a "group" buy. It is easy to get members to say they pay nothing seems to come through.
It is not difficult to fabricate anything for the most part...but is it worth it when a turbo like the T3076 is out there that is a direct bolt on.

Hey TGPilot.. I am still new to this turbo stuff. I am all for a direct bolt on! How much HP can that turbo support?
Most likely more than the 3.1 L Vin V could ever handle! :D
Here is a link with some specs on it. One will be on my TGP by Spring.

wow that is a nice looking setup and its bolt on like you mentioned! So what are you going to do about injectors?
Injectors will be determined once I figure out what top-end I am putting on my Aluminum block (yet to be purchased) along with what FMIC I choose. I need to know just how much flow I will be getting to determine the optimum injector size.
Fueling will definitely be an issue...but how much is up in the air right now.
Hell I may even sign my "I am certified crazy" card and try to figure out what it will take to make our cars a 3 bar map system!

You can't use a TTA harness.
The set- up is totally different.
