As the title states.
I just need 1, and it must be in good working shape (ie. ohm reading higher than 12.1).
Needed ASAP, we've gotta get the car out of the garage since were moving in a month.
Please PM me with any offers.
Thanks!
There is a fuel rail and injectors on ebay, was pretty cheap when I looked
Yea, I saw that as well. If I can't pick one up within the next couple of days from someone on the forums, I may just buy that whole rail and be done with it. But that auction still has a while to end, and I still need this ASAP.
Thanks.
I've got 75 of them sitting around. I can't guarantee flow but I can guarantee an ohm reading. Let me know. AIM or MSNMesager is your best bet.
Email sent to God910 (needing injectors bad)
edit : Or not, your MSN has a bad email or something. get ahold of me if you can God910..
yeah, I didn't get it, but I got the reply to the thread :D Post up what you need.
Well, I am needing 2 injectors. But since this are going into my Daily Driver, I need to be sure they are in ok condition. I cant afford the 133 each the dealer wants. And it seems Jeff M. is incognito. Wondering what you had available and such..
if you need to send me a offer to andy090482@yahoo.com i have 12 all out of working motors ran great
andy
Damn, I thought I had replied to this. Sorry. Personally if it's going in a DD, I would do one of a few things. 1) Get a set of new L36 injectors, (what I did in Sunshine) or send a set to either www.lindertech.com or www.witchhunter.com
I know Linder doesn't offer the LG5 injectors, but if you send them a set he might be able to do it for you. I'd also call witchhunter and see if they can correct an injector if it's bad. Or if they only test it. I know alot of the Subaru guys go through them for injector matching, but don't know what else they can do.
Are the L36 injectors a direct fit? Is any modifications to the fuel rail or it's mounts necessary?
mine were doing fine on 14psi ill ohm the later i got 12 so ill get you some readings on the best ones
andy
Necessary? No, I ran my car over 15 psi and never popped an injector. Worse case senario you get a boost leak. Jeff even backed up my research. Maybe one of these days while I'm in the garage I'll finish those mounts. There is a clearance issue w/ the rail, but it's not that big of a deal. I ran my car w/ L36's the entire time I owned it and no mounts or problems.
i wasnt saying that 14psi would kill a injector im saying none of them were dead my car ran great on 14 psi but i have no use for these injectors now im running 46lbs now so there up for grabs
yay for big injectors :D

So the L36 injectors don't allow the fuel rail to screw back in to the LIM?
Those things sit in there pretty damn tight, so I trust they wouldn't pop themselves out. I may have to look in to this in the future, especially since the L36 injectors are easier to come by.
I think thats what I did. I looked up PSI flow ratings for diferent injectors. And the closest match (almost dead on) that had the new windings design was from a 96 Buick Rivera non-sc. Worked flawlessly, no clearence issues, no nothing. But thats when I found out my O2 was bad. But I also have a bad x-over, so that was to be expected. I am not complaining about the price I paid for the injectors either. A brand new set for 20 bucks!!!!
$20? No shit!?
Holy hell, got a GM part #?
I'm looking for a good set, too. I don't really have to have another set, but I'd like one so I can get them cleaned/balance/flow tested by Casper's Electronics. That way, I don't have to leave everything apart for a few days (which I couldn't do in my apt complex, anyway) while they're getting cleaned.
What's the flow rate on the L36 injectors?
According to my local guy, the L36 injectors are the same 22 lbs that the TGP are. They arent testable the way the TGP injectors are. When I ohm tested the set I got, it was around 86.7 ohm. But every injector was diferent. The dude said this was normal. I beleive him, he is a avid L67 builder. He has a GTP 4 door in at 10.2 sec.
