When I ordered the special front bumper for my Beretta, it took 2 months or so to ship it, hence the "special order"

For real? How long ago? 180$ isnt too bad, GM parts direct wanted 120$ + 30$ shipping, if they tell me theres no more and refund my money, i guess i could call up my Dealer and ask before going to Jeff M

well, you lied,   , i called my dealer and they want $208 for the thing, and they will call GM and have them personally cross reference every dealer storage, and warehouse, and find out if they still produce them anywhere for me.

no I forgot to tell you. what you do is get a friend who works at a shop or mechanic that gets parts discounts to order it from their shop. My friend Wade works at Bob James automotive and they call it in for me.

Go in there and say your from "X" shop in town and you will get it for wholesale.  I have a friend that owns a auto shop in town and I've got wholesale parts from the GM dealer since I was 14....  Wholesale is ~40% cheaper give or take, and you pay no tax on it.

I'm that way with them too, they are weird, the TGP one broke within a year of us having it, with 152,000 miles, however, our '88 Beretta GT, has the ORIGINAL one with 258,000 miles!!! :icon_eek:

You should feel lucky you are only spending $254....

I just pulled my entire engine out, just for a $300 converter.  Just for that we have already spent ~$300 MORE on other upgrades and modifications we want to do that will make it a much nicer install, damn water lines on the thing stock are so dumb.  So its time to fix even more of them....Oh, plus another $200 or so for some gauges.  If we find an AC Condensor, it could be even more after that.  Money Pits.....FTW

Get some pics of it, and all the hardware that comes with it if you can please.
I'm curious how the new one is designed..

Sure, Its black primerd, and it has an optional hole for the center strap, so they must have been thinking of the TGPs, its smooth but on the back side theres a little outlined spot where the center strap would go. The mounting hardware isnt alot, its like a couple bolts and 2 threaded clips, just spares for ones that siezed probably. Also theres pictured instructions on how to install it, lol. It comes in this WAY oversized box, ill get pics tomarrow
