Well went with the RMCGP guys today for a sort of baseline run before the T3076, GEN III heads and intake, and headers go on in the spring.
She pulled her normal 220HP and got up to 336ft/lbs on 4th gear pulls. She is off the scale PIG rich...but that is expected with the conservative settings I am running right now.
Ok so we will see what she turns in the Spring with the go fast parts installed. 8)

Nice to see a before and then after, still great numbers Kenny
Hope to get mine Dyno'ed sometime soon ehter this spring or summer :?
right on Kenny! so close to my numbers too.
can you scan the dyno chart and post it? was this done at DynoPros?
Nice, getting real close to 400 ft-lbs @ the crank. 8)
Sounds familiar.. :D
Good to hear it was running rich.. I'm still curious as to why PFI's WBO2 was showing the car lean when I ran it. Must have been operator or equipment error.
You replace that clutch yet, or is it still holding up?
I will get it scanned and posted tonight.
The clutch is fine on the dyno...not true weight of the car loading it. I still have slippage if I hammer it 3rd and 4th on the road....5th is no pull at all above 5psi of boost at highway speeds...
There are many things in the works for the car right now for a build in the spring. This run at the dyno was purely baseline.
I disconnected the wastegate actuator on the last run and had the worst numbers on the car ever. We will see what she does in the spring/summer with the work I have planned. 8)
Those are some nice numbers and I'm sure there were guys there that were surprised by how high the torque was. I can't wait to see what you have in store for it in the spring. Maybe make a thread about your plans if they're not top secret. 8)
Nothing secret about it!
I will be listing the mods...but not how to. People want it done by me they will have to PAY!!! $$$$$$$

Sorry missed this part Luke....it is a completely different chip I worked for this run. Nothing even slightly similar to what was in there before. It is a "New Beginning" chip if you will... 8)
So the dyno chart is still M.I.A here :P Some of us are still waiting to see it, maybe compared to the last dyno run too?
Sorry Sorry...here it is... 8)

Have a misfire problem or something between 3k & 3200? Those are some pretty respectable numbers but I'd definately like to see what they end up like with your new mods, should be interesting.
I was planning on taking a similar route to what you are taking with yours however I just bought a new toy so my STE will probably stay just about how it is now and unfortunately will become my daily driver.
But, like I said, I'm very anxious to see what the after results are.

I'm interested to hear about the headers...
What do you figure happened at 3000 RPM?
My dyno sheet is somewhat similar with a dip occuring like that... Mine happened @ 4500 RPM (I figured it may have been valve float)
Is that with a custom burned chip? How much boost are you running?
Quote from: no1kickerI'm interested to hear about the headers...
X2
The dip is a bad spot in my TPS. Senses 38% at 60%ish deflection from time to time. Just so happened twice in a row that day!
Literally only thing done to this chip is AZRC code with my 5-speed changes. Upped the boost to 12 psi with the MAP sense and stock WasteGate Actuator Solenoid. No fuel or timing changes. She is off the scale PIG rich from 2500RPM on up.
Finally got all needed for logging correctly and will be tweaking some to pass emmisions...but nothing else until my go fast parts get here.
Peace...Kenny 8)

There wasa guy like 3-4 years ago that hit 372 ft/lbs. on the dyno. Cant remember who it was now.

Zach's dyno was not correct, his car was a stock chip car w/ a K&N and a modded catback exhaust(someone else on the board now owns his car). Assuming 20% drivetrain loss for the auto, that would equate to around 440 ft-lbs at the crank = no way with what that car had. I can see a chip/k&N/exhaust equipped auto TGP with a manual boost controller hitting 300 ft-lbs or a tad more on a dynojet considering what the 5spd cars with similar mods have put down.
Yeah, there is no way his dyno is correct. He said he did it on a school dyno from a 5mph roll. Nobody dynos from a 5mph roll and in our cars you would be in first gear. Obviously they must've used more than 1st gear for the dyno so the high torque number was due to the shifting, or was due to the torque convertor locking up or something like that.
I'd like to see his dyno sheet because I bet you can tell what caused it by looking at the sheet for a minute.
My STE on the other hand, put down 276lb.ft. to the wheels when it was basically completely stock. (K&N & No cat) However, this is significantly lower than what Zach claimed to have made.

Was that 276 ft-lbs on the stock boost controller(unmodified)?

It was with stock boost controller (stock boost ramp and all) and only 6psi boost due to a hole in the I/C inlet hose. Removing the cat & installing the K&N did help the turbo spool much quicker though.

Very nice numbers, TQ ownz.....lol
