What would you have to have for the whole car?
Also, if you do decide to part it out I'd be interested in the complete turbo setup and the jeff m crossover if the price is right. Possibly just the complete engine provided again that the price is right. Let me know.
Shawn
what do u mean what would u have to have for the whole car..
If u mean getting it shipped thats on you..
But im located in Pittsburgh PA 15210 if thats what u mean..
But give me and offer for the whole care and well see what we can work out....
It would be a shame to part out. :( Looks like just a few little things (aside from the tranny) would get it running, and make it a nice little TGP.
If you DO part it out, I'd be interested in the the Jeff M pipe, as well (if things fall through with dbtk2, or course).
yea im not really in the mood to part out but if thats what it comes down to thats whats gonna happen... i just lost the intrest into redoing this car...
when the car was runing it was really strong and responsive after the Crossver swap.... But im more intrested in getting rid of the car as a whole ...... I am willing to do w/e it takes to mak yall TGP fans happy...
Hope for more feedback on this thread...
If u would like more pics i can get them in moments after checking thread..
PS: HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!! ^^
I will buy the Turbo and the cross-over from you as long as the is NO shaft play! The turbo in the TGP is beginning to make me nervous and I am not buying a new turbo before spring.... 8)
i'd be interested in wheels/tires maybe to pickup and the EGR hose.
edit: radiator too if its good
if a part out happens I'd be interested in the hood and tail lamps, maybe the rear fascia too if it's in better shape than mine. keep us informed if you will.
wow more ppl want this car parted out but id rather sell the whole thing out right unless enough want parts and i can get them out fast ill probly end up parting this out but ill give it some time for others to see this b4 i deside please keep the feedback going...
I would buy the entire car from you...only issue is the 1800 miles in between us and shipping costs would rack up more of a bill than to buy a complete runner... 8)

yea it cost me 800.00 to have it shipped from CA to PA...
Like I originally asked, whats the asking price for the whole car??? I know you want us to make an offer, but being a TGP enthusiasts forum, everyone on here will probably want to lowball you and you'll get offers for like $300. So having an asking price is really the only way you are gonna sell this car whole. So, like I said in the original post, what do you want for it?
Shawn
If you don't sell the whole car, I would like the Fan in front of the Intercooler.
Does Gm stock these? Or does someone know where I can get one?
Thanks Mitch
OMG how does THAT happen to the SEATS!?? Did the dog get ahole of them?
Not a bad looking car. I'm sure you'll find someone who will give it a good home.
Oh, and do you still happen to have my stock A pillar and gauge pod that I shipped to you a looong time ago?

Sorry bro...
Sweet, I sent you an email. 8)
well i start off by offering $350
Ok well i cant let this car go for 350.00 so i got to get something for this car... i paid for the Crossover and installed it and i dont wanna loose money for that ill just say i want 1000.00 OBO...
Seeing that i could make way more than that parting this out. First to give me an ok for $1000.00 or a resonable offer its urs.... I wish i had the time an Money to put this car back together but i have more responsible things to take care of first and this car is taking up room..
I have a freind that has 2 TGP's that he is rebuilding. And seeing how this one is in better shape than 1 of the ones he has. He is interested. Dont know if he could do the 1000 bucks you want. But it would be better than the 350 you were offered. And he lives close to you. He might be contacting you. He has to work out his financials first..

You almost always make way more parting out a car then selling it outright. (at least on a car that old) Especially a car that is not driveable. A non-driveable car is not worth much money especially in the condition that one is. My dad paid $1500 for his TGP with 100k on it and it was pretty much mint, my 69k STE cost $1800. $1k is kinda pushing it for the condition of that car. To me, somewhere in the $500-750 range seems fair and thats what I would ask, but thats just my opinion.
Personally, if I were in your position, I'd part it out.
Shawn
well as it seams thes cars droped in price far from what i iused to seeing been a while since i checked on them but i would accept 700 all day long..
its actually paying pretty much nere nothing for the car as the Crossover was not to cheap....
Do you still have the old crossover? I would sell the TGP for $700 with the old pipe on, and sell the Jeff M one separately? A non running, but otherwise decent condition TGP is worth about that much regardless. So to me, selling it with the good pipe would just be a waste/loss of money from your position.
I acquired a Jeff M chip this way. A kid was selling his car pretty damn cheap on here (needed a decent amount of work), so it really didn't effect the value one way or the other. So he sold me the chip, and popped in the stock one, and got the same amount for the car.
have you sold it to any one yet? im intrested
i'm in pittsburgh every day. any way i could come take a look at the car?
This guy hasn't logged on in over a year, chances are pretty crappy that the car is still for sale, if it even exists anymore. Don't mean to burst your bubble, but its really futile to drag up year old for sale threads in hopes the car is still for sale.
bringing this old thread up again... this car was still for sale, and i brought it home wednesday for 500 bucks. i'll be looking for parts here soon
Yea as soon as you can let me know, I'll be doing a junkyard run next weekend, hopefully everything is still there.
