Title: New Member...Any pics of Jeff M crossover?
Post by: GOT2B GM on February 17, 2006, 06:19:15 PM
Hi. I'm new to this board but I frequent w-body.com. I just bought kuntzies black 90 TGP with 63K on the clock. Its a really clean car, and I plan on keeping it for a long time. It has a slight crossover leak, somewhere between the turbo and rear manifold. It looks like a replacement crossover (has no heat sheild/welding doesn't look like factory). Does Jeff M's crossover have bellows (flex pipes) to isolate vibration between the turbo/crossover and the manifolds? The crossover on my car looks like it is just one solid piece, no bellows. Any help and pictures are greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Matt

This is not a picture of a Jeff M x-over, but it is what it looks like and should look like with the proper replacement bellows installed...

A little bit... but the Billows are made out of Inconel and it is one damn tough metal, Boeing 747's use '8' 3 inch pins to hold the engines on their planes!!!
That just goes to show how long I've had my TGP's I'm up to 6 now!!!

Anyone know if he'll just take a core for a few bucks? I have an extra stocker now and it's got a few cracks, but I don't need it anymore...
