you need a 3.1 TB from a car with a non digital or with a Vac style EGR,
same as the TGP's in 1989 and 1990 with the 4 vaccum ports on top

the TB's on 3.1's with digital look like they have 4 ports but one is a deal hole and non functional.

I was also wondering if you knew where you could get an aftermarket one. maybe a little bigger tb than what is on there. also thanks for the help.

bigger TB eh....

you would need to Bore or really port your TB intake on the upper plenium or intake to get any benefit from a bigger TB.

but

I know of is this one from RSM racing in Toronto Canada, asses to to business with from my experiance!!

62 mm Throttle Body
The diameter of the TB is 62 mm right through
with a 62 mm diameter CNC throttle plate.
Bolt-on install, 10+ HP gain.P/N: 62TB2GW31-1116

Whopping $400 US dollars

not worth it IMO

Oh, so you "are" going to post the info I was looking for on a larger TB over here eh?    And you were already in that other TB Post too

Don't look a lot like ours  but that don't mean I think it won't fit

Yea, that?s nuts pricing, and I was mistaken, I thought they were totally gone unless the guys who I am thinking about that did these sold them off to someone else who is selling them now :? , can't remember if there was another name with when I first saw them quite a few years back.  And I am with you (though no proof first hand from me) not hearing real good feedback on them from others, darn!

Could have my stock one welded up with more meat, then grind the inside out, get a bigger flapper and go that route, need to look close once all other options are gone.  Then  the chip with such things like AE fuel and timing, launch spark and probably other areas, would need to look to identify what else to be ready for tuning, got to tell the ECM so it knows that  "X" amount of TPS now means this much change in air flow now, and this much air flow once steady  hope it is not too pissy, new tables  and scalars to play with too that as I recall have gps or gpm in the scaling.

so, jeff tell us exactly how we would go about boring out the stock TB? and what flapper are you thinking? I just looked back here and slapped my forehead because I was gonna ask ...  I am looking at a stock TB and it looks like its got plenty meat to trim.
