Title: FINALLY
Post by: turbo90gp on March 09, 2006, 07:30:20 PM
FINALLY A WARM DAY HERE IN NORTHEAST OHIO!  So what do I do?  Ditch my class and start tearing into the TGP.  Replacing the throwout bearing  (took a shit on me) clutch, and flywheel.  Anything else I Should consider replacing?   I am allready counting on doing tierods, ball joints, control arm bushings, oil pan gasket, calipers/pads/rotors (Fronts, maybe rears), lower motor mount bushings (any specific kind?) upper bushings  (Again, any suggestions?).  Maybe Ill consider the starter just to be safe since I Have to take it off anyways.  All cv boots look good and axles seem to be in decent shape, I will check them out when I pop em out since I coulden't do it tonight because I didn't have a large enough socket to remove them with here @ the household and work was allready closed.    Anything else you think I should consider, let me know!

If you replace the starter, go with one from a 00 Chev of some sort. Smaller, quieter, and they are supposidly higher in torque, althou using less energy...
