It was nice out today so I pulled the car out of the garage and started it up. Let the battery recharge itself, which pisses me off because a month ago it started up no problem, today it wouldn't!! :o
So my first datalog went well, ran the test, started the record on COM I and shazaam, there it was. It was working so I guess thats a good thing, I did something right. Well I'd like some experienced people to check out this file, maybe give me some pointers on what to look for, and maybe just see if we can find anything wrong with this car, as the idle seems a bit choppy sometimes and doesn't idle down properly. Anyway, if anyone has the time to look this over let me know, I can email it to you which I assume is what I do with this. (total beginner) :o ;)
Anyway, hell of a nice day here today, almost 65, and man I can't wait until spring really warms up!! I was building a shed with my Dad earlier today and saw a spider on the roof, which to me is a good sign. Either that or it's one stupid spider.
ah ha
Welcome to the world of Datalogging
when you do a log it will save it as a .UNI file in a file on our computer
email that to me as an atatchment to dknechtel@msn.com since i think me and you are the lone DATAMASTER users :P and i will giver a looky looky
on its way soon Dave.. Thanks a lot.
Well I was watching it go through its cycle and towards the end it seems that the BPW Inj spot turns yellow and drops to .70, but right back up. Do you see anything else out of the ordinary? I believe that I have a leaking injector or failing FPR because of hard starts, it seems to flood itself while sitting after running in closed loop. I don't know if I am right but what should I be looking for as far as these numbers go?
Everything looks good Ryan, what Chip version ya running?
your IA Temp (upper intake air) is really high :o but im guessin thats from sitting and idling in the driveway for a while.
should get a DEI intake tube sleeve, that really brings the temps down so the heat from the turbine and crossover dosen't re-heat the air in the tube after the IC.
as for the BPW inj thats when ya let off the throttle after reving it eh....mine does that also and im not sure if its a problem or natural.
other than that your BLM's (LTerm-counts) are right on at 128 and the Intigrator (STerm-counts) are steady with in range.
looks good for idle conditions anyway

so I have to get a NYS inspection so I don't get haraseed while driving it, and when I do (maybe this week if the weather stays nice) I will take it out and get a reading 0-60 and 0-100 to see if that offers any other changes. So the intake temps are high huh? I will check that out, I wonder what cause that. We will see if that makes a difference when it's rolling. I also have the Pontiac Jeff CAI, we will see if it offers and changes when it's installed.
I see the a/c pressure thing on the side, does OBDI offer that information as well or is that OBDII only?
