Title: would this work?
Post by: one_fast_prix on March 13, 2006, 07:35:18 PM
i stumbled across this today, and as usual it looks like a good idea, but i'm always weary on ebay about this type of stuff.  wanting to know wether this would help a 3.1 n.a and if i would really get 15-25hp from this?  i don't think so, but i could be wrong.

 Thats a huge big arse rip off. Its basicly taking a electric leaf blower and hooking it up to your intake. Now unless its running all the time, its actually restricting your intake. And once it is running, it has to run at at least 1000 CFM to even begin being effective. 500 CFM is stock intake N/A, 750 starts actually adding a pressure to the system, and 1000 is where the system actually has been pressureized at about 1 PSI. 1 PSI for 375 bucks? thats more than I paid for my running and driving TGP, or my now sold non-running TGP... Just a big waste...

If you were to use two of them, you would probably get 35 to 40 MPG.
