150 friging horse power.  :Yikes_anim: Damn that seems like alot for such a little thing. Bet that will leave the Cutlass in the dust or should I say snow. But I bet there fun. Never been on one. Never have any snow.

I'm more of a summer rider, I prefer the Jet-Ski over one of those, I finally got mine running this year, never much of a fan of frozen spit on the side of my face!

Ya they will run 120 MPH on a frozen lake but are still good and light enough to manage the trails.  :icon_razz:

gonna be fun!!!

Buying a sled out here is an expensive proposition. You normally have to travel 80 miles to get to high elevation trails then the places to play and stop on 1000's of miles of trails are EXPENSIVE too! :icon_eek: Last sled I road was my dad's Bombardier TNT 400...I think it was a 1978 or 80 year model. 2 stroke twin carb beast!

I tend to ice race motorcycles in the winter. I am looking at a CR450R to convert on Saturday.

If I lived farther in Northern Michigan I would definatly have one, but right now most of my money is tied up in the lumina.

Money tied up in a W eh.......DO I EVER HEAR THAT!!!!!

I actually sold my old sled i mentioned above and bought the cutlass back in 1999 cause i needed a car for school  :icon_cool:

spending on the Cutlass more or less over as far as $$$$ mods go so i need another money pit i guess

I will trail ride out here in Colorado or elsewhere, hare scrambles, enduros, etc...but I hate to be higher than 10 feet off the ground on a bike! :icon_redface: So motocross and the like I do not do.

Lots of Ice Racing in Minn! My old roomate Davey Durelle was a pretty bi time racer from Minn for dirt track oval motorcycle racing.

I'm really into motocross.  The jumps make it fun!  ;) More than 100 foot jumps get scary, though.  :icon_eek: Harescrambles and trail riding are fun, too.  I tried ice racing a couple times, but didn't really get into it.  I've been into motocross for about 10 years  :icon_cool: (started when I was 6) you do the math.

A fellow snowmobiler!!! I have one sitting at my grandpas in Colorado I ride when I can. Its a Yamaha XLV 500. I am looking to upgrade my snowmobiles next year I hope. Looking at a couple Yamaha RX1 like this.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-Vector-ER-03-RX1-ER-01-Remeq-covered-trailer_W0QQitemZ220026098890QQihZ012QQcategoryZ42599QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem  (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-Vector-ER-03-RX1-ER-01-Remeq-covered-trailer_W0QQitemZ220026098890QQihZ012QQcategoryZ42599QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) I love those machines. Fast as freak. Was going to upgrade this year, but the wife made me get some ATV's instead. I am not complaining thou, thats cool to.. I do most of my ATV riding over towards Mt Evans there in Colorado, and ride my snowmobiles out in Teluride or Winter Park/Frasier area. I so want to move back out to Colorado. I just sold my condo that I had in Winter Park cause the association decided it was going to raise there fees to the hilt..

Edit: Oh I think I am in love with this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-RX-1-custom-built-Turbo-charged-mtn-snowmobile_W0QQitemZ320023916613QQihZ011QQcategoryZ42599QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-RX-1-custom-built-Turbo-charged-mtn-snowmobile_W0QQitemZ320023916613QQihZ011QQcategoryZ42599QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

well i have not jumped on one yet......there is one in Winnipeg Manitoba a guy on the AC forums is trying to sell me but i think im gonna wait a bit yet.

some say the more closer to winter the more you will pay, i can see that but in turn there are some good deals to be had still as the upgraders will be really in a bind to sell older sleds because there new machines are now in and they GOTTA PAY!!!

Bought brand new helmet, boots, gloves last week online....for a pretty good deal  ;) all i need now is the jacket and pants and the machine..... :icon_redface:

Ya Brian there is a guy here with that set up on the RX1 and its quite the weapon on the lakes here....saw him last winter just flying at about 135 MPH at least.  :icon_eek:

Pretty badass machines  :icon_cool:

nice!!! I need to steal my Dads sled this winter and get out on the trails a bit more.

He has a 2002 Ski-doo MX-Z Renegade 800 twin.

Sometimes we go snowmobiling around my aunt and uncles house in South River (halfway between Burks fall and North bay on Hwy 11)

Oh ya South river is a really nice area!!!

I have been riding from North Bay to South river a few times actually when i had my other sled.

I also have been on Lake Nipissising sp*? in North Bay but thats a bit scary when you don't know it vell enough.....there are places where if you go to far out you can't see the shore  :icon_neutral:

Anyway I was working on mine tonite and both my rear shocks are toast  :(  the previous owner removed the electric "Smart Suspension" shocks because they were prone to problems and never worked like they were supose to.

He replaced them with aftermarket cheapys and they have no "shock" left to them anymore.

So i went all out and bought new CLICKER gas rear and front shocks which are fully adjustable which is way cool.

Rear Back Shock

The Little Knob here is the adjustment "clicker"

Brand New Old Stock which all retails for over 2k CDN new from the dealer

which i got on ebay for under $500 US

woot!! my sled is now gonna be a Sno Pro Edition   :D

Two Austin Powers references in one day.. LOL

Looks like "One swedish penis pump, warranty card filled out by one Austin Powers".   Either that or they look like some sort of makeshift bomb or something.  Anyway, have fun with that thing, its starting to get really cold down here so I can imagine what its like up there.

Don't go killing yourself on that thing.
