Title: Thinking about installing 4 speed manual
Post by: killinprixs on October 16, 2006, 08:39:17 PM
I found an 89 grand prix in the junkyard with a 2.8 and 4 speed manual trans.  Does anyone know what  kind of trans this could be?   The guy said i can have it for 100 bucks if i yank it.  Obviously i would take the shifting console and cables as well.   I know a lot of people have installed manuals on these cars, any suggestions for this 4 speed.

Yea it definatley was in grand prix and had the 1234R pattern next to the stick.  I highly doubt someone put that car together like that.

If its a fiero 4 speed, it has to be a muncie.  It could have 4.10 or 3.65 gear ratios supposedly.
