ugh i just spent the last 2hrs drooling over the Innovate Motorsports LC-1 kit. i know i could datalog the WB signal through TunerPro RT but i'd have to have that XD-16 gauge! adds alot to the price but it would be really nice to easily see WB A/F #s on my A-pillar pod while i'm driving. if i decided to turn up my MBC and then go for a WOT test drive only to see the gauge read 14.5 i could get off the go pedal immediately instead of going back to my garage, viewing the datalog on TunerPro RT and meanwhile discovering i just melted a piston :icon_eek: besides, that XD-16 guage just looks cool :icon_cool:
my brother on the other hand is ordering the LM-1 kit. he wants the portable kit so he can transfer it between his 3 Turbo Dodges easily and it will also allow him to datalog - something that is very tough to do on a Turbo Dodge unlike our OBD-1 GMs. i'm going to pitch in a little money on his LM-1 so i can use it every once in awhile on my Lebaron GTS Turbo as well. i just need to order an extra bung/plug kit for the GTS when i get the LC-1 for the Turbo Cutlass.
overall i'm looking at spending just over $600 on gauges from Summit :icon_eek:
$399.95 - LC-1 kit with XD-16 gauge
$8.95 - O2 sensor bung & plug (for my GTS)
$189.88 - Autometer Phantom Series 2&1/16" 30"/30psi electronic boost gauge
that sure would beat the hell out of my previous 90% useless Autometer narrowband A/F gauge & completely inaccurate piece of crap Autometer mechanical boost gauge.
still gotta order pleny of other related things too...quite a few things from Moates.net in particular not to mention a laptop. i can't wait until i can get my Cutlass suspension done so i can start in on tuning!
