Title: AT29C256 chips extinct?

I used to get these all the time and now I cant find them anywhere? were they superceeded with a different part number or something?

I dont have a UV type burner, so whats a similar chip that I can get?

ok doesnt sound too bad. kinda sucks you have to change the jumpers between erase/burn

luckily I still have a at29c256 so ill only have to deal with this when making chips for other people  :icon_lol:

I found some of the AT29C256 chips at http://secure.transtronics.com/AT29C256.htm 7 dollars a piece they shipped me five today

Thats fine if you want to deal with jumpers and starting memory adresses might as well buy 10 or more and get them for $4.50
not worth it to me
