My god. :twitch: that sucks (engine bay especially) :bash:
Raped
I can fix that shit :icon_mrgreen:
you might be able to fix it, but that doesnt mean you should. Wow that thing is toasted. Too bad cause it looks like its in decent shape body wise. Sadly it has the grey interior as well. What a shame.
They're getting more rare by the day......
This upsets me. Anyone know what was wrong with it?
the guy on v6z24 said that the on the window it said runs.... it had a date of about 9 months prior (so the car was there for a couple of months) it siad Trans- NFG - which i have always know to be - transmission no fricking good.
he took the turbo stuff. he was tellng me that the car only had 9x xxx miles on it to boot said the body and everything looked great too
What an idiot! He could have sold it and then someone could have fixed it. Some people.... :ugone2far:
Yea that should be taken out of there and restored. If not , anyone know if i can get a hold of that passenger hood louver?

Whats that supposed to mean?
It would be so easy!
1. get the car
2. get a red TGP for a dime (10 cents) :icon_lol:.
3. transfer the parts/ wheels on to the ultra rare black/grey TGP and paint it. take you 1 year tops.
Hey, if you've got the time, its all yours. I'm just as sad as the next guy to see the rarest of the TGP's wasting like that. That car is torn up, but hey, to each his own.
Make sure you post pics of your finished work. I'm sure you'll have a blast. In the meantime, I'll just paint mine black, and take it to the local upholstery shop and let them make it all grey. :icon_cool:
well where on the gray interior topic.... i have never heard of an 89 with the gray interior... now i know that would be rare

Sounds like it would be much less expensive than getting that POS from the yard and wasting gobs of time and money on it. Also you would be stuck with a salvage title.
So it is another car in the yard...what is the big deal? Hell...do you have any idea in the 80's how many muscle cars I saw in the salvage yards that today would be worth better than $20,000 in total shit shape? Seems like we are crying over spilled milk here gents. :icon_rolleyes:
ya i wasnt crying... just the fact of a gray interoir caught my eye or i wouldnt hae posted it

yea exactly, what if it ends up being worth $20,000  still, the salvage title would suck. but it wouldnt be that hard to fix up if the interior is still good. and the body is still straight.
Yea so Kuntzie, what about that passenger side hood louver? can you contact this guy any way shape or form? I just need the top part ....someone ripped mine off
I just want the front seats. might have 2 make a trip there this coming weekend. Anyone know the yard it was at? maybe a addy? If i can get there grandprixagain, i will grab that louver for ya.
Pontiac6K- that would be awsome if you could grab that. Let me know! thanks a lot
are the seats leather or cloth?
GOOD QUESTION!! That is one I need to know befor I go looking at them..
LET ME KNOW if they are leather and the overall condition of the interior. I am interested.
From that crappy picture, they kinda look like they're cloth to me...
From the sheen off the headrest I would say they are leather. Anyone have a way of finding out for sure? Dont want to waste a trip to pick up some seats for my TGP, only to find they arent the right ones..
Get someone to post on the board where the picture was posted to begin w/ and ask the guy if he remembers whether they're leather or cloth(or if he has interior pictures of it at least). ;)
Thanks!! (both for that, and the explanation of a 2 bar map sensor, althou I am not sure I understand still LOL)
they are leather. i asked him
Now we just need to find out where the place is...
Any update as to a location?
