Title: WTB TGP radiator
Post by: flybynite on November 20, 2006, 04:30:14 PM
Like it says I need a radiator.Mine is rotted on the inside and is leaking everywhere.I found a new one in Minnesota and they wont $750 for it.No way I'll pay that.Unfortunately mine is not repairable and I don't see paying that much for a new one.If anybody has one and it's reasonably priced I will take it.Thanks...Adam

I have a spare that will work.. but should really be recored. It leaked at one small spot where some smartass had mounted a fan right to the radiator.. I put on a small dab of JB Weld and voila, no more leaks.

The fins in the bottom few rows are really trashed but it currently has no leaks and it cooled just fine.

Hey man! A few months ago I was in the same boat as you are. Let me give you the website that saved my ass. www.car-parts.com, and there are even a few within a couple hundred miles of my house, and probably more where you live. Go there and type in 1990 (or 89, but both pop up either way), select Pontiac, Grand Prix, Select Radiator, then the area you live in, Sort by Price, and your ZIP Code...Select 2-3/16" Thick(our radiators), and it should pop up with the best deals in your area! If you need anymore help let us know!

P.S. I got mine for $40 and it's in fine working condition.

is that the same as the TGP one? I thought NAs were different, could be wrong though.

N/A radiators are different and are not interchangeable with TGP/TSTE.
