First time with the TA at the strip. TGP won both rounds, TA lost 3rd gear on that run. :icon_sad:
Daughter inlaw took the movies after she discovered that the camera would take movies. If she hadn't taken all the staging she could have got the whole run. Oh well live and learn. :laugh

Sweet!
what were your times... and damn u get like no wheel spin at all
Great reaction time against the TransAm, and a great holeshot. No wheelspin (or little) is the key to getting away in traffic, or at the drag strip.
The stock TGP is ideal because if properly jacked up at the line, virtually no wheelspin is evident.
Avoiding all wheelspin with a hotter chip in is difficult and if a T/A is sitting next to you at a light, zero wheelspin may be impossible. LOL
You get my nomimation for an Local Oscar for your TGP at the Drag Races clips. Thank the photographer as well. You're right that if she times it a little better, she may get lane light coming on at end of run(s).
I have the first clip bookmarked, to watch over and over. It looks just like me out there! ; )
Great job, great car. Looked super! Yay. : )
^ note that Jud has the fastest tgp.... not by much though. :icon_wink:
his car is extremely far from stock

I sure didn't mean to imply that his car is stock.
His GTP obviously runs like a raped ape!
Thanks for the photo, kuntzie. : )
But how does Jud keep varmints out of the turbo? LOL

Heck Larry the little varmits just get sliced and diced and pass on through. Now in all fairness the big ones do cause a slight hickup.
When they get up to 3 1/2 or 4" I do put the little cover on.

Had 3 of them in about 6 months that ravaged my garage. Made the biggest frigging mess i've ever seen. These guys were extremly upset. Had to feed them in the house until I captured these varmits.

what were your times...
x2!!!
soooo times FTW
That night on the first runs the TGP was running 13.60 and 13.70's with my brother in law driving. They told him if he ran another one they would kick him out. (we only had one helmet)The TA ran two 13.40's and broke on the movie run. I backed the boost off on the TGP for the movie run. I would guess it was low 14's by the way the TA was gaining on him. We only got to face each other once and then called the tow truck. :icon_sad:
On the 1/8 mile track where we raced side by side 3 or 4 times the TA would get the TGP buy a door or a car length. Close fun racing.
Jud
Turbo Raccoon!!!!! Looks like the TGP was squatting a tad in the rear on those launches Jud.
Yea Matt, no strut blockers in that night. I don't put them in unless I'am going for broke. :icon_wink:
Turbo raccoone, yea thoes succers were in there 3 times. Oh and my dumb ass cat went in the cage once, he's lucky he didn't get hauled off. :icon_lol:
