My '90 TGP had four owners before me. :icon_eek: She's been whored out a bit. :laugh: The original owner purchased the car from a dealership with 115 miles on it according to the information he jogged down in the back of the owners manual. I guess someone at the dealership drove the car around a bit back then or either a LOT of people took it out for a test drive. I have some records/info with various mileage intervals listed for a few years. The first year of it's ownership, the car was driven about 18,000 miles. After that year, it was driven a lot less. It looks like about 4-5K year on average, but some years less than that. I've been slacking and only put about 1,000 miles on it a year since 2004. I'll probably hit 75,000 miles at the end of this month or maybe early next year. :icon_mrgreen:

Both of mine are two owner vehicles, however the low mileage one was a promo car and was sold to the PO at 11k. He put it up to 38,312 and then it rolled off the transport here in NY from CA. Since then I haven't broken 42k with the new engine.
I bought the first one with 97k and change, it rolled 100k in the first week I owned it. :laugh: It gave me 65k more trouble free miles, aside from the usual xover, tune up, clogged cat. Everything else in that car performed great. Then I got a TG160 chip and beat the hell out of it for 2 years. I no longer have 3rd gear or OD. 54 mph max close to redline in 2nd. Someday #1 will run again. Until then, #2 gets to ride around.

2. Mine was in posession of the original owner until 2001. Second owner had it from 2001- July this year. I am the third owner as of July 31st 2006. :icon_biggrin:
techincly im owner number 3, but really this 60 somthin year old lady owned it, and smoked, and was half blind, drove it till she went to blind to drive, kept the car, and she died, her son took it, and drove it from Michigan to Washington, in Omak, and we herd about it, and bought it, he didnt drive it at all after he got it back from michigan. So really im sorta the 2nd owner
I'm not sure how many owners mine has had. Jeff bought from a guy in Illinois when it had 59K on it. I bought it off of Jeff at 64K and now it has 74K.

Does the odom work off the speedo :icon_question: If I get my butt in gear and put the new cluster in it will have 0 miles. :icon_biggrin: Then I will be afraid to drive it. :laugh:
Mine doesn't get driven much either. Since I retired 6 or 7 years ago I've put less than 5k on it. Proly more miles to the drag strip than anywhere else. :laugh: it.s about 50 miles away. Only put about 300 miles on the TA in a year. We rack up over 15k a year on the Solara

well if you take 35% off your shown mileage thats about 133250 mi.

Jud, the odometer appears to have an input to calculate mileage that is not dependent on the speedometer(the VSS signal gets split going into the cluster, so the speedo, HUD, odo, etc. get their own signal from it). My car has been logging mileage at a normal rate and my speedometer is off also. My speedo is about 8-10mph off at 60-65mph, it gets worse as you go faster. :icon_neutral:
I have 2 90 model tgps(red/tan leather).#1 has 156xxx on the clock and I'm the second owner(test mule)and I just bought another tgp with 95xxx on it.I and the second owner of it also. :icon_cool:
I believe I'm owner 3 of the TSTE, and somewhere between fourth or fifth of my old TGP.
I have enough trouble keeping track of the number of cars (6, 2 red, 2 black and 2 white TSTE's) let alone the number of owners for each one...
face it!!
Jim has owned each TGP in existance at one point in time... :icon_razz:

Sweet, I need a new desktop picture anyways. ;) I took group pictures of my gp's about a year and a half ago, it was a pain getting three of them cleaned up in one day to take pictures. :laugh:
