Title: new datalog with new heated o2
Post by: scott0999 on December 16, 2006, 01:12:28 PM
I just installed a brand new denso heated o2 sensor. the car went into closed loop in 2mins :)

this new o2 seems to be giving some insight to the ongoing idle problems ive been having (stalling)

once in closed loop the INT started going up to about 133. it went back down to 128 but the IAC is at like 47 steps. not sure what to do

when I had my 1wire o2 in the int would stay at 128 and the iac was down more but now idk if I trust that sensor anymore

I started recording this once it was in closed loop.

in tunerpro,
im trying to tune my "FUEL Low RPM VE % vs RPM" table. I type in the value I calcluated, press enter, it shows in the table and is red. I click save, close the table and go back into it. then the values are back to what they were before. it will only save certain values.

does it do this for anyone else? how am I supposed to tune around that?

What version of TP RT are you using? This was a bug in past versions.

im using RT v4.14

I noticed if I right click on that table and goto edit xdf item info, then conversion. it has "0.390625 * X + 0.000000" in there.

then I went back and tried adding .39 to whatever value was in the table and it would save that. but from 5.00 to 5.01 it wont.

I can edit the PE air fuel ratio's by .10, but it doesnt make sense how your supposed to fine tune the VE tables

I just got a reply from the author of tunerpro

he said you shouldnt need that much resolution. the VE can only be adjusted by .39

when I look in the datalogs, its hard to find a map reading exact to the rpm like it shows in the tables. so being exact on the tables would be hard anyways.
