Title: rattle at passenger rear wheel
Post by: florida_tgp on October 05, 2002, 09:22:15 AM
There is an anoying rattle everytime right rear wheel hits even a little bump. I have jacked it up and can't  find any play in wheel, strut, or
other stufff around it. All suspension bolts, wheel studs tight, I have riden in trunk and sound is from below, i felt no movement at top of strut.  Sound doesn't sound bad from
outside car as wheel rolls over 2x4, but inside you think wheel is loose and
going to fall off. I don't see how it could be strut, but what else?

yeah, my piston cover was broken off mine too.  Since the struts are beat on my car I just cut it off with a dremel.

i replaced my front shocks finally sunday and OMG both units were totally blown out!  what a difference in the ride now!  whats cool is you got coilovers but don't need a spring compressor to remove the shock.
